For some of us buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you will ever make, and everyone deserves the opportunity to have a safe and stable place to call home. As a realtor, I understand the challenges people face when navigating the housing market, and I believe housing is not just a privilege but a fundamental right.

As a council member, I will work with neighborhoods and community members to address zoning needs and ensure our housing policies reflect the priorities of the people who live here. I will also collaborate with developers to create fair and reasonable incentives for building reliable and affordable housing that meets the needs of our growing community. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to a home they can afford and feel proud of.

Public safety is community safety, and it is the foundation of a strong and thriving district. By working together with local leaders, community members, and organizations, we can create safe and vibrant spaces where every resident feels secure and proud to call home. As your City Councilwoman, I am committed to building meaningful partnerships with the Chattanooga Police Department, local nonprofits, and grassroots organizations to address the root causes of safety concerns.

I will focus on creating tailored programs specifically for our city’s youth and their families. By providing resources and opportunities that keep our young people engaged and on positive paths, we can create lasting change. From mentorship programs to recreational activities and career development initiatives, I believe we can foster a community where every family has the tools they need to succeed. Together, we can ensure Chattanooga is not just a place we live, but a place where we all thrive.

As a small business owner and manager and former employee, I have experienced firsthand both the challenges and rewards of running and supporting small, local businesses. I understand the long hours, the dedication, and the creativity it takes to keep a business thriving. I also know the incredible impact small businesses have on our community, not just as drivers of economic growth but as cornerstones of our neighborhoods, creating jobs and fostering connections.

Our district is filled with hardworking entrepreneurs who pour their hearts into their businesses, and it holds so much untapped potential for greater growth and innovation. Small businesses are not just part of our economy; they are part of our identity.
